Bruce Barker

Bruce counsels clients on a wide range of intellectual property issues. His practice includes assisting clients in responding to threats of patent infringement, advising them on how to avoid a competitor's patents, assessing patent portfolios, litigation and licensing.

Bruce specializes in electrical engineering, computer science and physics, where his engineering experience gives him unique insight into the intellectual property issues faced by his clients. Before entering the field of law, Bruce spent several years as engineer with Apollo Computer and RCA Corp. writing computer programs and designing digital circuits for microprocessor based systems.

Bruce was a partner at the nationally recognized law firms of Gray Cary Ware & Freidenrich LLP and Pennie & Edmonds LLP before joining Chao Hadidi & Stark LLP. At these firms, he represented clients in patent litigation and provided intellectual property advice, particularly in the areas of patent law and licensing.
